Blackpool Lights Day 2

Day 2 Blackpool Lights: Happy Head Coach, class swimming and a great set of young swimmers coming through the programme.

Again loads of PB’s, Medals and Speeding Tickets (hopefully none for any of the parents).

Big thank you to Mandy, Frances, Craig & Noel for giving up their time to cover poolside over the weekend.

Bobcats Junior Swimmers not just Artists in the Pool

Big thank you to everyone who took part in the recent fundraising event with swimmers creating their self portrait   for the tea towels (can’t wait to see them) and also creating their own Christmas Cards.

Lucy Turner attends England Talent Programme

Congratulations to Bobcats swimmer Lucy Turner, who aged 11, has been selected to attend The England Talent Phase One Camp.

The camp is for identified talented swimmers aged 11-12yr olds. The first camp takes place at Accrington Academy on Saturday 22nd October with part two of the camp taking place in December.

100 Medals for Bobcats at North Lancs

Congratulations to ALL Bobcats swimmers who competed for their home clubs at the recent North Lancashire Age Group Championships.

The meet was held over the first 2 weekends in October taking place at the Palatine Pool Blackpool.

Bobcats swimmers came home with a record medal tally for the squad which included :

Gold 37

Silver 37

Bronze 26

A very impressive return for a small squad programme.
